Reviews and the like
"With her debut NZICF hour, Mo Munn is bringing a frantic, fast-paced show with Is it Off?, a show that draws upon the dozens of talents she’s got up her sleeve. There’s so much going on in this show, from singing to comedy to improv to licking, you’ll never get bored watching it... She jabs and slices at her audience and draws laughs instead of blood.... Thematically it's perfect"
-Wellyott, Is it off?

"When Mo Munn is on point in Is it Off? her show goes off in very good way. It deserves to travel far and wide, as long as the oven is up for that."
-Theatrereview, Is it off?

"This is a seriously strong first play. It makes the personal political, and examines our relationship with the form. It has something to say, and it not only says it, but examines it with nuance, perspective, and heart. Mo Munn, improviser, comedian, producer, and playwright - well-earned.
-Artmurmurs, Oversharer
“The subject matter and performance is achingly relatable, her voice is gorgeous (so is she - inappropriate comment, sorry)… The theatre was packed and the audience gave a standing ovation; the show deserves both of these, every night of the run.”
– Wellington Reviews, Oversharer

"Mo is unashamedly autobiographical"
- Theatrereview, Muunboot Show

"Mamaeroa Munn redefines object work... in her willingness to accept and then elevate the insanity around her, she produces an ethereal performance that only leads to escalation."
- Wellyott, Murder Club

"They’re all up there, having the time of their lives and we, the audience, are lucky enough to see it. If it were an empty room, they’d still be enjoying themselves just as much and it’s that camaraderie between the cast that causes them to sell out. It’s a reminder of what performance is.
Every scene is perfectly curated and directed to the extent that each one belongs to someone... Nobody else can replicate what they do. It’s categorically and euphorically theirs."
-Wellyott, Best of Wet Soup

"This is the kind of show that reminds you that, regardless of age, sometimes we just need to get messy and have fun. It is complete organised chaos that cleanses the pallet and keeps you laughing long after the show is over."
- Theatrereview, Wet Soup Fringe Show
